You can support Migrant Empowerment Group by volunteering, donating money or goods, sponsoring a project, fundraising, coming to our events, or telling people about our work.

Many people we help live in absolute poverty: no money for food, clothes, bus fares to appointments or energy meter top-ups. Here is how you can help.

  • Volunteer

Teach English or IT, help at the food bank, befriend someone, interpret, or support events.

  • Donate money

One-off or monthly. Gift Aid adds 25% at no cost to you.

  • Donate food and goods

Long-life food, toiletries, new clothes and shoes, laptops and tablets.

  • Sponsor a learner

Fund a real person’s place: a term of English, a laptop, or a week of food for a family.

  • Sponsor or become a patron

For businesses, churches, trusts and individuals who want to fund a programme.

  • Come to an event

Refugee Week, International Women’s Day and our Christmas party are open to everyone.

  • Invite us to speak

We give awareness talks at schools, churches, workplaces and community groups.
